This is a pre-mixed spice blend by Schwartz. I’ve found this fantastic for chucking into stir fries and for coating meat. The Thai Crusted Cod recipe relies heavily on it and I’ve found it works with so many things.

The 7 spices the name refers to are hard to pinpoint since the ingredients read:

Salt, Chili Powder (12%)(Chilli Pepper, Cumin, Oregano, Salt, Garlic), Dried Garlic (10%), Flavourings, Ginger, Coriander Seed, Lemon Peel (5%), Cinnamon, Cumin, Dried Chillies, White Pepper, Green Pepper, Onion Powder, Star Anise, Pineapple Powder (Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Maltodextrin, Citric Acid), Jalapeno Powder, Cayenne Pepper, Cloves

I make that about 10 spices, but who cares, it tastes top. Oh, and don’t be shy with it, the more the better.
